sketches

hello all.
i had a good christmas, lots of maine cheer. i am currently working out of a corner of my dad's studio, trying to make as little of a mess as possible. ive been working on some sketches for upcoming projects and just fooling around with ink and tracing paper. its a good combination sometimes. I;m planning on posting a comic that im making pretty soon. something like a page every few days. ive got some sketches im posting for it. you might also see the radiohead thing in the tree one... that is just delusions of grandeur. anyway, happy new year everyone.

mostly ink

Here is some of my ink work. The one with the guy who has a huge veiny head was one of five designs chosen for the illustration t-shirt design. woohoo! ... anyway these are all done for fun(meaning not for a class) and I perhaps for an upcoming graphic novel project. Im doing okay these days, degree project is coming along. Its going to be a graphic novel about DIABETES! how fun. I'll post some stuff up when it gets more developed. Anyways take care y'all

so here is some art ive been making this semester. the first i did just for fun in acrylic, while the others are for classes. Ive been working with ink and acrylic a lot recently. The one with the women is acrylic and the portrait(of the one and only gene koch) is stipled with microns. The piece with the skyline is done on scratchboard, another medium ive been getting into. Ill post some more soon.

the new blog

Hello everyone. This is my blog where I'll be posting a lot of the art Im doing. I figured that i should make some way that my family and friends can view my art. So here it is. The semester is going good, and its almost over. that was damn fast. Anyway, I'll post some of my pieces pretty soon.
